Superior Controls is one of just 30 organizations worldwide to achieve the distinction of SPI Research’s 2019 Best-of-the-Best professional services organizations (PSO), which is awarded based on assessment in financial performance, client satisfaction, business growth and employee-centric culture.

Seabrook, NH March 5, 2019 Superior Controls, Inc., a leading Life Sciences control system integrator of custom industrial automation and IT solutions with 140 employees on both the east and west coasts, today announced the company has achieved the prestigious 2019 Best-of-the-Best designation for professional services organizations from independent research firm Service Performance Insight (SPI Research).  Additionally, Superior Controls was one of 21 top-performing organizations to have earned the 2017 Best-of-the-Best designation.  The company is the first and only industrial automation winner, and is one of just three firms to have earned the award more than once.

The 2019 Professional Services Maturity™ Benchmark survey conducted by SPI Research measures five critical service performance dimensions, including Leadership, Client Relationships, Human Capital Alignment, Service Execution, and Finance and Operations.  In the 2019 benchmark, Superior Controls significantly outperformed its peers to rank in the top 5% of the 622 professional services organizations surveyed.  Collectively, the 622 applicant firms generated over $57 billion in service revenue.  The Best-of-the-Best firms showed a significant advantage over their peers and the benchmark average in metrics such as revenue growth, percentage of satisfied clients, on-time deliveries, and profit margin.

“We are thrilled to have won both the 2017 and 2019 awards for the Best-of-the-Best professional services organizations,” said Rick Pierro, co-founder and president of Superior Controls. “Our company culture embraces the concept of continuous improvement, and we will continue to refine and improve our processes to deliver the greatest value to our customers.”

“Being recognized as a Best-of-the-Best services organization is a tremendous honor, especially given the large pool of applicants this year,” said Allen Schweitzer, CFO of Superior Controls.  “Superior Controls has established itself as a leader in providing industrial automation and IT solutions for the highly regulated Life Sciences industries, and this honor recognizes the hard work and dedication of our experienced employees.”
